Description

RECENT-SEASON SEED STOCK

Our seeds are collected from the most recent harvest season available, then dated and cataloged. Seed viability can decline with age and storage conditions, so we make every effort to offer recent-season seed and give you clear information about when it was collected.

By popular request, we're making Atemoya seeds available for gardeners and tropical-fruit enthusiasts who want to try growing this distinctive fruit themselves.

Atemoya is a natural hybrid of Cherimoya and Sugar Apple, prized for its creamy texture, rich sweetness, and subtle tropical and vanilla-like notes. These seeds come from our California-grown Atemoya, giving you the opportunity to start your own growing journey from fruit grown on our farm.

Growing Atemoya from Seed

Atemoya is a warm-climate fruit tree that requires warmth, sunlight, and appropriate growing conditions to thrive. Growing Atemoya from seed requires patience, but it can be a rewarding project for gardeners interested in cultivating their own tropical fruit.

For gardeners outside warm growing regions, Atemoya can be grown in a container and protected from cold temperatures when necessary.

Please Note

Seed-grown Atemoya plants may not produce fruit identical to the parent tree, and fruiting is not guaranteed. Plants grown from seed can also take several years to mature enough to produce fruit. Germination and growth depend on seed quality, growing conditions, and ongoing care.

Seed Freshness: Each seed lot is dated and cataloged so you can see when the seed was collected.
