Quantity is noted in each order option. Alphonso variety is fully pre-sold for the season. Keshar and Ataulfo varieties are currently being harvested and shipped (September).
What Mango Varieties Are Available?
Freshpicked California offers a selection of mango varieties, including Ataulfo, Kesar, Alphonso, Ratnagiri Hapus and Devgadh Hapus. Availability varies by season and harvest.
How to Ripen Mangoes
Mangoes are generally shipped firm so they can travel safely. Allow them to ripen at room temperature and gently check for softness. Depending on the variety, the skin may change color as the fruit ripens, while some varieties can remain green even when ripe. For more guidance, see our Ripening Guide.
How to Enjoy Fresh Mangoes
Once ripe, slice the mango and enjoy the juicy flesh on its own, or add it to fruit bowls, smoothies, yogurt, desserts and other fresh recipes. Hi! Just sharing a quick update on what we’ve completed so far and what is still pending.
Please Note: Generally shipped in raw (unripe, firm and green) condition, so that it can withstand transport vibrations and prevent damage to mangoes. Please refer to instructions in the delivered box on ripening guidelines.
