Description
By popular request, we're making Sitaphal seeds available for gardeners and tropical-fruit enthusiasts who want to try growing this beloved fruit themselves.
Also known as Sugar Apple, Sitaphal produces a tropical fruit with a distinctive green, segmented exterior and creamy, sweet, custard-like flesh when ripe. With the right warmth, care, and growing conditions, Sitaphal seeds can be started at home and nurtured into young plants.
These seeds are from our California-grown Sitaphal, allowing you to start your own growing journey from fruit grown on our farm.
Growing Sitaphal from Seed
Sitaphal is a warm-climate tropical fruit and requires warmth, sunlight, and appropriate growing conditions to thrive. Seed germination and eventual fruiting can vary depending on climate, care, and growing conditions.
For gardeners outside warm growing regions, Sitaphal can be grown in a container and protected from cold temperatures when necessary.
Please Note
Seed-grown plants may not produce fruit identical to the parent tree, and fruiting is not guaranteed. Growing from seed also requires patience, as plants may take several years to mature enough to produce fruit.
